The Sound Control Technologies RCF1-XMTR is a factory-replacement transmitter module for the RCF1 fiber optic camera extension system. The RCF1 system supports single-HDMI PTZ cameras including the Cisco Webex PTZ 4K (RCF1-CW4), Cisco Precision 60 (RCF1-P60), Poly EagleEye IV (RCF1-E4P), and Sony/compatible cameras (RCF1-UNI). This replacement transmitter module allows integrators and facilities managers to restore a failed RCF1 system by replacing only the transmitter (camera-end) module, without purchasing a full system replacement. It is the correct field-replacement part for RCF1 transmitter failures.
Product Description
In an RCF1 system, the transmitter module is located at the camera end and converts HDMI video, Ethernet control, VISCA, power, and audio signals into fiber for transport to the receiver at the codec end. When the transmitter module fails, the RCF1-XMTR allows it to be replaced independently, restoring full system function without replacing the receiver module or fiber cabling.
