Product Description

In a RemoteCam5+ system such as the RC5+UNI kit, the RC5+ CE camera-end module mounts at the PTZ camera position and links to the RC5+ HE head-end module at the equipment rack over the SCTLink CAT cable. The camera end receives 66W PoE++ class power over the link and feeds the camera, so no factory camera power supply or electrical outlet is required at the camera location. It accepts the camera's HDMI output for uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 transport to the head end and provides Ethernet connectivity for IP camera control, streaming, and manufacturer firmware updates. When a camera-end failure is diagnosed, replacing only the RC5+CE restores full system operation while the existing RC5+ HE module, WPS-48 power supply, and cabling remain in place.
