The Sound Control Technologies RCU2E-CE is the Camera End replacement module for the RCU2E RemoteCamUSB2E camera extension system. It is intended for service replacement or spares inventory when the Camera End unit of an installed RCU2E system needs to be replaced. The RCU2E-CE carries the USB 2.0/UVC, Ethernet, 5V/12V/PoE camera power, and bi-directional audio functions of the Camera End unit in the RCU2E platform.
Product Description
The RCU2E system consists of a Head End (HE) unit and a Camera End (CE) unit connected by a single CAT cable run up to 300 feet. The RCU2E-CE is the Camera End unit sold separately as a replacement or spare. When an installed RCU2E Camera End unit requires replacement due to failure or damage, the RCU2E-CE provides a direct replacement that restores the system to full operation without replacing the entire kit.
The RCU2E-CE is designed for AV integrators and facilities managers maintaining installed RCU2E systems. It is also appropriate for purchasing departments building a spare parts inventory for sites with multiple RCU2E installations.
