The Renkus-Heinz TX82 is an externally powered dual eight-inch two-way point-source loudspeaker, built to order for permanent commercial installations needing compact, high-output coverage. It combines dual 8-inch carbon-fiber woofers and a 1-inch titanium HF driver on a rotatable Complex Conic waveguide, with a built-in passive crossover. As an install loudspeaker, it suits main, fill, and distributed systems in houses of worship, multi-purpose rooms, and conference rooms.
Product Description
T Series loudspeakers employ advanced driver technology and Complex Conic horns to deliver natural music and intelligible speech. The TX82 features dual heavy-duty 8-inch woofers with carbon-fiber cones and a 1-inch Extended Range titanium HF driver, with a 120° x 60° Complex Conic horn that rotates 90° for wide or deep rooms. A built-in crossover eliminates the need for a separate electronic crossover and bi-amplification. Connections are made through screw terminals and looping 4-pin Neutrik Speakon-style connectors. The TX82 can be field-upgraded to a self-powered TA82 using a Renkus-Heinz SA625 amplifier module. The compact cabinet mounts inconspicuously in walls, ceilings, or under balconies.
