The Renkus-Heinz SX112-WR is a weather-resistant, externally powered 12-inch subwoofer built for permanent commercial installations that require compact low-frequency reinforcement in high-humidity or covered outdoor environments. Built on the SX112 cabinet with an SSL12-11 woofer, this passive subwoofer complements Renkus-Heinz full-range loudspeakers in houses of worship, multi-purpose rooms, and commercial meeting spaces. Large ports keep its forceful bass free of port noise across the operating range.
Product Description
The SX112-WR delivers the power and punch of a 12-inch woofer in a cabinet that is easy to integrate into any project. Large ports ensure forceful bass is never marred by chuffing or fluttering noise. Connections are made through two Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors wired in parallel with a terminal strip, and a crossover frequency of 120 Hz or lower is recommended for system integration. The weather-resistant (WR) treatment prepares the enclosure and hardware for high-humidity and covered outdoor applications. Sixteen M10 Universal Mounting points allow the cabinet to be flown with M10 eyebolts, while the M20 pole adapter, recessed handles, and available casters support portable and ground-stacked use. The SX112 platform can be field-upgraded to a self-powered SA112 using Renkus-Heinz SA-Series amplifier modules.
