Product Overview
The Renkus-Heinz CX151 is an externally powered 15-inch two-way point-source loudspeaker, part of the in-stock C Series for permanent install applications. It combines a heavy-duty 15-inch woofer and a 2-inch titanium HF driver on a Complex Conic waveguide, with a built-in passive crossover. As an install loudspeaker, it works as a compact main system or distributed coverage in auditoriums, houses of worship, and multi-purpose venues.
Product Description
The C Series delivers premium point-source performance for installation at a competitive price, kept in stock for immediate shipment in black or white. The CX151 features a heavy-duty 15-inch woofer and a 2-inch titanium HF driver, with the exclusive Complex Conic horn delivering constant beamwidth and directivity without the artifacts of conventional rectangular horns. A built-in passive crossover with EQ and high-frequency protection eliminates the need for a separate electronic crossover and bi-amplification, and can be bypassed with an internal jumper for bi-amplified operation. Connections are made through screw terminals and looping 4-pin Neutrik Speakon-style connectors. The CX151 can be field-upgraded to a self-powered CA151 using a Renkus-Heinz SA1250 amplifier module. Twelve-point Universal Mounting Hardware with M10 threads supports flown and bracket-mounted installation.
