The Renkus-Heinz CX118S is an externally powered 18-inch subwoofer, part of the in-stock C Series and a companion to C Series full-range loudspeakers. It provides high-impact sub-bass for permanent commercial installations, pairing an 18-inch high-power woofer with a built-in low-pass filter. As an install subwoofer, it extends low-frequency reach in auditoriums, houses of worship, and multi-purpose venues.
Product Description
The C Series is kept in stock for immediate shipment in black. The 118S subwoofer was developed as a companion to full-range C Series loudspeakers, providing the high-impact sub-bass energy many venues require. Its high-performance woofer uses a 4-inch voice coil, rigid cast-alloy frame, and long-throw magnetic structure, easily handling 900 watts of program power. A built-in low-pass filter eliminates the need for an external electronic crossover. Connections are made through screw terminals and looping 4-pin Neutrik Speakon-style connectors. The CX118S can be field-upgraded to a self-powered CA118S using a Renkus-Heinz SA1250 amplifier module. Twelve M10 Universal Mounting points and a 35 mm pole socket support flown and ground-stacked deployment.
