The Renkus-Heinz CA118S-RD is a self-powered 18-inch subwoofer with Dante digital audio and network redundancy, part of the in-stock C Series and a companion to C Series full-range loudspeakers. The C Series is kept in stock for immediate shipment in black. The 118S subwoofer was developed as a companion to full-range C Series loudspeakers, providing the high-impact sub-bass energy many venues require. Its high-performance woofer uses a 4-inch voice coil, rigid cast-alloy frame, and long-throw magnetic structure. The integrated SA1250 amplifier supplies 1000 watts to the low-frequency section with factory-optimized multi-band peak and thermal limiting, and a built-in low-pass filter eliminates the need for an external electronic crossover. Controlled through RHAON II, the onboard DSP provides eight fully parametric filters, high and low shelf and pass filters, and up to 340 ms of delay. The RD model adds Dante digital signal distribution with AES67 compatibility and primary/secondary network redundancy. Twelve M10 Universal Mounting points and a 35 mm pole socket support flown and ground-stacked deployment.
