What is the RDL TX-AFC1F?
The RDL TX-AFC1F is a connectorized audio transformer that converts a balanced +4 dBu XLR signal to an unbalanced -10 dBV phono output. It provides professional-to-consumer level conversion with galvanic isolation.
How does it work?
A studio-quality bifilar transformer provides the isolation and level conversion, with gold contacts on the input and output connectors. The XLR input is 2.5 kΩ bridging and accepts up to +22 dBu. Response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.1 dB), THD is below 0.06% (50 Hz to 20 kHz) and CMRR exceeds 85 dB. The module measures 3.17 x 1.76 x 2.06 in; for the opposite conversion, see the TX-AFC1M.
