RDL STP-1 – Two-Channel Universal Audio Attenuator
What is the RDL STP-1?
The RDL STP-1 is a pair of passive, adjustable audio attenuator pads in one compact package. It lets installers match levels precisely, preset audio levels and increase input headroom right where the attenuation is needed.
How does it work?
The STP-1 uses multi-turn trimmers, 15 turns continuous, so levels can be set precisely without jumpers or external resistors. Its passive modified H and T pads work in high- or low-impedance, balanced or unbalanced circuits, with nominal impedances of 10 kΩ (HI-Z) and 600 Ω (LO-Z). Terminal blocks accept 14 to 24 gauge wire with no lugs required, and the wiring legend is printed on the case. It mounts with RDL STICK-ON hardware such as the RDL SR-10 rack, the RDL ST-RRB1 rear rail kit or the RDL DRA-35S DIN rail adapter.
