What is the RDL STM-DA3?
The RDL STM-DA3 is a microphone-level distribution amplifier that feeds one microphone to three microphone inputs. It provides electrical and audio isolation between outputs for broadcast, recording and commercial sound.
How does it work?
The 1.2 kohm balanced input accepts a wide range of mic levels without loading professional microphones. A multi-turn trimmer adjusts gain from -5 dB to +12 dB to match facility levels. Three balanced outputs are highly isolated, so a short on one output has no effect on the others. Phantom is supplied to the input when supply voltage is connected to the PHM terminal, and a Dual-LED VU meter simplifies setup. It runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply, and STICK-ON modules mount in the RDL STR-19B racking system or on a rear rack rail with the RDL ST-RRB1 rear rack rail kit.
