What is the RDL STA-2A?
The RDL STA-2A is a dual-channel line-level audio preamplifier with up to 24 dB of gain per channel. It converts between unbalanced and balanced signals and drives long balanced lines into 600 ohm loads.
How does it work?
Each identical channel has a 20 kohm bridging input that accepts balanced or unbalanced audio. Gain is adjustable from unity to +24 dB using a 25-turn precision trimmer. The output line drivers are designed for long balanced lines terminated with 600 ohm transformers. RDL SupplyFlex power input accepts a floating 24 Vdc source, a bipolar supply or a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply. STICK-ON modules mount in the RDL STR-19B racking system or on a rear rack rail with the RDL ST-RRB1 rear rack rail kit.
