RDL ST-VP1 – Manual Voice-Over and Paging Module
What is the RDL ST-VP1?
The RDL ST-VP1 is a voice-over paging module with user-controlled fade or cut between two input sources. It is also suited to voice-overs that need precise and consistent fade levels.
How does it work?
Both inputs accept balanced or unbalanced line-level signals from -20 dBu to +18 dBu. The module offers selectable fade-under or hard-cut operation with adjustable fade depth and rate, and soft audio switching keeps paging noiseless. Two LEDs indicate proper music and voice levels during setup. RDL notes that automatic operation can be achieved with its ST-ACR products. It runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply, and STICK-ON modules mount in the RDL STR-19B racking system or on a rear rack rail with the RDL ST-RRB1 rear rack rail kit.
