What is the RDL ST-PH1?
The RDL ST-PH1 is a stereo phono preamplifier that converts turntable cartridge output to line level with RIAA equalization. It lets installers preamplify a phonograph close to the turntable in commercial audio systems.
How does it work?
The ST-PH1 has two identical channels with standard 47 kΩ unbalanced phono cartridge inputs. Equalization follows the RIAA curve, and left and right output levels are adjustable. Each output can drive balanced or unbalanced, high or low impedance loads. RDL SupplyFlex power accepts a floating 24 Vdc source, a bipolar ±12 or ±15 Vdc supply, or a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX. Preamplifying near the turntable and sending line level onward gives optimum system performance.
