What is the RDL ST-MPA24?
The RDL ST-MPA24 is a two-channel phantom power adapter that lets phantom-powered microphones connect to standard mic inputs. It adds IEC 61938 P24 phantom to mixers, preamps and other equipment that lack phantom power.
How does it work?
The module contains two identical phantom circuits sharing a common power input, and each circuit has its own mic input and mic output. Phantom voltage appears on the mic input terminals, while the mic output terminals carry no voltage, so any existing mic input can be converted. An internal pass-transistor regulator filter lets a multi-turn trimmer reduce the phantom voltage, up to 92% of the supply voltage. In the default fully clockwise position it provides P24 24 Vdc phantom from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply. RDL lists STICK-ON mounting accessories such as the SR-4 and STR-19A for this module.

- Full-bandwidth audio path — RDL specifies 20 Hz to 100 kHz frequency response within ±0.025 dB.
- Highly filtered phantom power — An internal regulator filter supplies clean phantom from the 24 Vdc input.
