What is the RDL ST-HP3?
The RDL ST-HP3 is a line-level high pass filter that protects public address horn loudspeakers from low-frequency damage. It sits at the input of a power amplifier and needs no field adjustment.
How does it work?
The ST-HP3 has one balanced +4 dBu input and two filtered outputs, 300 Hz high pass and 500 Hz high pass, which may be used simultaneously. The 300 Hz output is -3 dB at 225 Hz and the 500 Hz output is -3 dB at 450 Hz, both with an 18 dB/octave attenuation curve. The module runs at unity gain, and input and outputs may be wired unbalanced if required. SupplyFlex power accepts ground-referenced, floating or bipolar 24 Vdc at 30 mA, such as from the RDL PS-24AX. The module measures 3 in. W x 1.6 in. D x 0.7 in. H.
