What is the RDL ST-CX2S?
The RDL ST-CX2S is a STICK-ON subwoofer crossover filter that derives a subwoofer feed from a stereo source. It gives commercial sound systems adjustable low-frequency equalization in a compact module.
How does it work?
The ST-CX2S has two separate, isolated balanced bridging inputs that may each be wired balanced or unbalanced. Its 150 Ω balanced output drives low or high impedance lines, balanced or unbalanced, with an output bandwidth of 22 Hz to 80 Hz. The module operates at unity gain at 63 Hz, and a BOOST control raises 32 Hz from flat to +5.5 dB. High-frequency attenuation exceeds 45 dB at 400 Hz. It pairs with the RDL ST-CX2 crossover and runs on SupplyFlex power at 24 Vdc, 30 mA, from a supply such as the RDL PS-24AX.
