RDL ST-CX2 – Two-Band Active Line-Level Crossover
What is the RDL ST-CX2?
The RDL ST-CX2 is a two-band active line-level crossover that splits a +4 dBu signal into full-range and woofer outputs for separate power amplifiers. It is a compact STICK-ON module for commercial sound systems.
How does it work?
The balanced input accepts a +4 dBu line-level signal at nominal unity gain, and the balanced outputs may be wired unbalanced. The FULL RANGE output passes 100 Hz to 30 kHz with a 2 kHz equalization adjustment providing up to 8 dB of midband smile-curve attenuation. The WOOFER output passes 40 Hz to 165 Hz when flat, with a BOOST adjustment centered at 50 Hz. A LOOP THRU output feeds the RDL ST-CX2S subwoofer crossover in systems with subwoofers. SupplyFlex power accepts ground-referenced, floating or bipolar 24 Vdc at 40 mA, such as from the RDL PS-24AX.

- Loop-through output — The LOOP THRU output connects to an ST-CX2S for subwoofer systems.
- 18 dB/octave rolloff — Out-of-band signals roll off at 18 dB per octave.
- SupplyFlex power input — It runs from ground-referenced, floating or bipolar 24 Vdc.
