What is the RDL RU-VA2?
The RDL RU-VA2 is a dual-channel adjustable video attenuator for rack-mounted video systems. It brings hot video signals down to the normal 1 V p-p level.
How does it work?
The unit features two separate, passive isolated 75 ohm channels with BNC connections. Each attenuator can reduce the incoming video level by up to half using a front-panel knob, and the output is intended for a 75 ohm terminated load. Because it is passive, no power supply is required. The 1/3-rack-width RACK-UP design mounts in the RDL RC-1UR rack chassis, or on a panel or backboard with the RDL MB-1 mounting kit.
