RDL RU-UDA4 – 2x4 Stereo Audio Distribution Amp, Phono
What is the RDL RU-UDA4?
The RDL RU-UDA4 is an unbalanced line-level audio distribution amplifier with two isolated channels and four phono outputs per channel. It splits consumer -10 dBV sources to multiple displays, recorders and amplifiers in conference rooms, lobbies, classrooms and digital signage systems.
How does it work?
Each of the two inputs is buffered through output line drivers to provide four separate unbalanced outputs, all on phono connectors. The channels can run together for stereo or independently as two mono distribution amplifiers, at unity gain on both channels. Performance centers on the -10 dBV standard with a 5 Hz to 50 kHz response and greater than 28 dB headroom. The 1/3 rack module runs from ground-referenced 24 Vdc such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply and mounts stand-alone or in the RDL RC-1UR 19 in. rack chassis, the UC-1R enclosure or the DRA-35R DIN rail adapter.
What are the key features?
- Two-in, eight-out distribution — Each of two inputs feeds four buffered unbalanced outputs.
- Stereo or dual mono — Isolated channels work as a stereo pair or as two independent mono amplifiers.
- Unity gain — Both channels pass -10 dBV signals at unity gain for drop-in distribution.
- High headroom — Greater than 28 dB headroom and a 5 Hz to 50 kHz response preserve audio quality.
- High-density mounting — The 1/3 rack width module mounts stand-alone or in a rack.
