What is the RDL RU-SH1?
The RDL RU-SH1 is a RACK-UP series stereo headphone amplifier that drives headphones of any impedance from consumer or professional sources. It accepts balanced or unbalanced left and right inputs.
How does it work?
Each input accepts operating levels between -20 dBV and +20 dBu, and recessed rear switches set input sensitivity and stereo or mono operation. In mono mode, the left input drives both output channels. The front-panel control adjusts matched VCAs, so audio never passes through the potentiometer for long-term noise-free adjustment. The amplifier delivers more than 50 mW into high or low impedance headphones through a metal 1/4 in. jack. It mounts in the RDL RC-1UR rack chassis and runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply.
