What is the RDL FP-SPR1?
The RDL FP-SPR1 is a single-channel S/PDIF repeater and amplifier for converting between S/PDIF connector types or restoring low signal levels. It reshapes S/PDIF waveforms on long digital audio lines.
How does it work?
Three inputs are provided in BNC, phono and optical formats, and a coaxial input takes priority over the optical input. Three outputs in the same formats allow one coaxial output and the optical output to be used at the same time. A front-panel SIGNAL LED lights when the input is strong enough to produce a correct output. Power connects through barrier block terminals or a dc jack, and a second dc jack passes power to other FLAT-PAK modules; a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply is recommended. FLAT-PAK modules can be rack mounted with the RDL FP-HRA or the FP-RRA rack adapter.
