What is the RDL EZ-VDA3B?
The RDL EZ-VDA3B is a 1x3 composite video distribution amplifier with 75 Ω BNC inputs and outputs for NTSC or PAL signals. It is used in stores, houses of worship, restaurants, clubs, security and commercial AV systems.
How does it work?
The terminated 75 Ω input accepts 1 V p-p composite video and feeds three source-terminated 75 Ω outputs on gold-plated BNC jacks. When outputs drive long coaxial runs, typically 100 to 1000 feet, front-panel GAIN (unity to +6 dB) and EQ (flat to +7 dB at 50 MHz) trimmers restore picture clarity. Bandwidth exceeds 400 MHz to support high-quality video distribution. The module draws 20 mA idle and 35 mA maximum from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX. The case is 2.9 in. W x 3 in. D, one-sixth rack width.
