What is the RDL EZ-VDA2B?
The RDL EZ-VDA2B is a 1x2 composite video distribution amplifier with 75 Ω BNC input and outputs. It feeds one NTSC or PAL source to two displays in stores, houses of worship, restaurants, security and commercial systems.
How does it work?
The terminated 75 Ω input accepts 1 V p-p composite video, and two source-terminated outputs drive separate coaxial runs. When outputs feed long cables, typically 100 to 1,000 ft, front-panel gain (unity to +6 dB) and EQ (flat to +7 dB at 50 MHz) trimmers restore picture clarity. Bandwidth exceeds 400 MHz, and the module draws 20 mA idle, 30 mA maximum, from a 24 Vdc supply. The 1/6 rack-width case mounts in the EZ-CC6 chassis or EZ-RA6 rack adapter.
