RDL EZ-SX4 – 4x1 Stereo Audio Input Switcher with Level Control
What is the RDL EZ-SX4?
The RDL EZ-SX4 is a four-input stereo audio source selector with an output volume control. It is designed to select a source and feed an associated audio amplifier.
How does it work?
Four unbalanced stereo sources connect on rear-panel RCA jacks, and the line output is also on RCA jacks. Full-size interlocking front-panel pushbuttons select the source, and a front-panel knob sets the output level. Switching is solid-state, so switch noise cannot affect signal quality. It runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply. For permanent installs, the unit mounts in a 19-inch rack with the RDL EZ-RA6 rack adapter or under a counter with the EZ-UCB2 under-counter bracket pair.
What are the key features?
- Four stereo inputs — Rear-panel RCA jacks accept four unbalanced stereo sources.
- Pushbutton selection — Large interlocking front-panel buttons make source selection easy for staff.
- Front-panel level control — A knob adjusts the line output level at the same location as source selection.
- Solid-state switching — Electronic switching keeps switch noise out of the audio path.
- Compact form factor — The 1/3 rack width case suits desktop, under-counter or rack installation.
