What is the RDL EZ-HDA6?
The RDL EZ-HDA6 is a stereo headphone distribution amplifier that feeds one source to six headphone outputs, each with its own front-panel volume control. It is used in music stores, houses of worship, studios, museums and commercial sound systems where several listeners need independent levels.
How does it work?
One stereo input feeds six separate headphone amplifiers, with outputs on rear-panel 1/4" (6.3 mm) TRS jacks delivering 60 mW into 100 ohms. The source connects on stereo RCA jacks, a mini-jack or a 1/4" TRS jack, and a 1/4" loop-out passes the input signal to additional equipment. Each output is driven separately, so one listener changing level does not affect others. The 1/3 rack width unit runs from 24 Vdc, such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply, and mounts in the RDL EZ-RA6 rack adapter, the EZ-CC6 component chassis or under a counter with the EZ-UCB2 bracket pair.
