RDL EZ-HDA4B – Stereo Headphone Distribution Amp, 1x4 Rear Outputs
What is the RDL EZ-HDA4B?
The RDL EZ-HDA4B is a stereo headphone distribution amplifier that feeds one source to four headphone outputs on the rear panel. Individual level controls for each output stay on the front panel.
How does it work?
The stereo input connects through RCA jacks, a mini-jack or a 1/4 in. jack, and one signal feeds all four amplifiers. Rear-panel mini-jack outputs suit installations where headphone cables are routed to listening positions while the controls remain accessible up front. Each output delivers 60 mW into a 100 ohm load and is driven separately. It runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply. For permanent installs, the unit mounts in a 19-inch rack with the RDL EZ-RA6 rack adapter or under a counter with the EZ-UCB2 under-counter bracket pair.
What are the key features?
- Four headphone outputs — One stereo source drives four separately powered headphone amplifiers.
- Rear-panel outputs — Mini-jack outputs on the rear panel keep cabling tidy in fixed listening installations.
- Front-panel level knobs — Each output has its own front-panel control for independent volume adjustment.
- Three input options — The source connects by RCA, mini-jack or 1/4 in. TRS jack.
- Gold-plated RCA inputs — Gold-plated RCA input connectors provide dependable connections.
