RDL EZ-HDA4A – Stereo Headphone Distribution Amp, 1x4 Front Outputs
What is the RDL EZ-HDA4A?
The RDL EZ-HDA4A is a stereo headphone distribution amplifier that feeds one source to four headphone outputs. Each front-panel mini-jack output has its own level control.
How does it work?
The single stereo input connects through rear-panel RCA jacks, a mini-jack or a 1/4 in. jack, and that signal feeds four separately driven headphone amplifiers. Each output delivers 60 mW into a 100 ohm load, and front-panel knobs make individual level adjustment simple. RDL lists music stores, houses of worship, studios and museums among typical uses. It runs from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX 24 Vdc power supply. For permanent installs, the unit mounts in a 19-inch rack with the RDL EZ-RA6 rack adapter or under a counter with the EZ-UCB2 under-counter bracket pair.
What are the key features?
- One input, four outputs — A single stereo source is distributed to four independent headphone amplifiers.
- Front-panel headphone jacks — All four outputs are mini-jacks on the front panel for easy listener access.
- Individual level controls — Each output has its own front-panel knob so every listener sets a comfortable level.
- Flexible input connections — The source connects by RCA, mini-jack or 1/4 in. TRS on the rear panel.
- Gold-plated RCA inputs — Gold-plated RCA connectors provide reliable input contacts.
