RDL EZ-ADA4 – Stereo Audio Distribution Amplifier, 1x4
What is the RDL EZ-ADA4?
The RDL EZ-ADA4 is a 1x4 stereo audio distribution amplifier that feeds one unbalanced source to four stereo outputs. It is used in stores, houses of worship, restaurants, clubs, security systems and commercial AV systems.
How does it work?
The input connects through RCA jacks or a stereo mini-jack at a nominal -10 dBV, and four stereo outputs are provided on gold-plated RCA jacks. A front-panel knob adjusts gain from off to 12 dB above nominal while you watch the left and right dual-LED VU meters, calibrated to -10 dBV output. Frequency response is 10 Hz to 20 kHz (±0.01 dB), with THD+N below 0.03% and crosstalk below -80 dB at 1 kHz. The unit draws 20 mA idle and 60 mA maximum from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX. The case is 5.75 in. W x 3 in. D, one-third rack width.
What are the key features?
- One-in, four-out distribution — A single stereo source feeds four stereo outputs.
- Mini or RCA input — The input accepts either RCA jacks or a stereo mini-jack.
- Front-panel level control — A knob sets gain from off to 12 dB above nominal.
- Dual-LED VU metering — Left and right meters make level setting quick and accurate.
- Gold-plated connectors — All rear-panel jacks are gold-plated.
