RDL EP-2B – Euro Plate Adapter, Dual-Gang Decora, Black
What is the RDL EP-2B?
The RDL EP-2B is a black European plate adapter that fits US Decora-style products into EU/UK rectangle back boxes. It lets integrators use RDL and equivalent OEM dual-gang Decora-style plates on international projects with a consistent look.
How does it work?
The EP-2B adapts dual-gang Decora-style products to EU/UK rectangle back boxes with 120 mm screw hole mounting centers. All-steel construction and a durable powder-coated finish give a clean, long-lasting face. Mounting hardware is included, and the adapter measures 5.62 x 4.65 x 0.43 in (14.29 x 11.82 x 1.09 cm). RDL offers the series in white or black and in single and dual-gang versions, including the RDL EP-2W.
What are the key features?
- EU/UK back box fit — It adapts Decora-style products to rectangle back boxes with 120 mm mounting centers.
- All-steel construction — The steel adapter provides a rigid mounting surface.
- Powder-coated finish — A durable powder coat resists wear in commercial spaces.
- Hardware included — Mounting hardware ships with the adapter.
- Matching family — White and black finishes plus single and dual-gang versions cover most layouts.
