What is the RDL DS-TPS2A?
The RDL DS-TPS2A is a Format-A two-pair sender with stereo RCA inputs on a Decora-style panel. It sends consumer-level left and right audio from a wall location over twisted-pair cable to Format-A receivers and amplifiers.
How does it work?
The two RCA phono inputs accept standard -10 dBV consumer signals, with the left input feeding pair B and the right feeding pair C. Signal and power pass through on RJ45 jacks, and the module can daisy-chain with single-pair senders on the remaining pair. Power arrives remotely over twisted pair or from a fused local terminal block input, using a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX power supply (the international version of RDL's recommended 24 Vdc supply). The DS-TPS2A uses a stainless steel faceplate to coordinate with RDL stainless Decora-style controls in commercial and industrial spaces. Pair it with the RDL D-TPR2A receiver or RDL D-TPA1A amplifier, mounted in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
