RDL DS-RCX1 – Room Control Panel for RCX-5C Combiner
What is the RDL DS-RCX1?
The RDL DS-RCX1 is a stainless steel Decora-style room control panel for the RDL RCX-5C room combining system. Installed in each individual room, it lets users choose the audio source and adjust level locally, which suits divisible ballrooms, conference centers and multi-purpose rooms.
How does it work?
The DS-RCX1 mounts in the room it controls and connects back to the RDL RCX-5C room combining system controller. Long-life pushbuttons select Music or Local / Combined source operation, and Up / Down pushbuttons adjust level with an LED readout showing the setting. Multiple RCX1 panels may be connected within one room, so the same controls can be placed at several entrances. The Decora design uses an all-steel panel and rear enclosure for durability in public spaces. Complete the wall location with an RDL CP-1S stainless steel cover plate, or rack it with the RM-D3 3-module rack mount.
What are the key features?
- Per-room source selection — Pushbuttons choose Music or Local / Combined audio for the room where the panel is installed.
- Up / Down level control — Pushbutton level adjustment includes an LED readout so users can see the current setting.
- Multiple panels per room — Several RCX1 panels may be connected within one room for control at more than one location.
- Long-life pushbuttons — Durable pushbuttons are built for frequent use in shared commercial spaces.
- All-steel Decora construction — The stainless steel panel and steel rear enclosure match other RDL Decora-style controls.
