What is the RDL DB-TPSML1A?
The RDL DB-TPSML1A is a Format-A single-pair sender with a balanced XLR input that accepts either microphone or line-level sources. It sends a wall-plate mic or line signal over twisted pair with switch-selectable gain and phantom power.
How does it work?
A rear-panel GAIN switch sets MIC LOW (46 dB), MIC HIGH (60 dB) or LINE (unity) operation, and a PHANTOM switch turns P24 phantom on or off for mic sources; phantom is not applied in LINE mode. The preamplified signal feeds one Format-A pair, A, B or C, selected with a rear switch, so other single-pair senders can share the cable. Signal and power pass through on RJ45 jacks, and power arrives remotely or from a fused local terminal block input fed by a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX power supply (the international version of RDL's recommended 24 Vdc supply). The DB-TPSML1A has a black front-panel laminate for darker wall finishes and AV furniture. Receive it with an RDL D-TPR1A and mount it in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
