What is the RDL DB-TPSL2A?
The RDL DB-TPSL2A is a Format-A two-pair sender with an XLR microphone input and stereo RCA line inputs summed to mono. It sends a mic and a consumer audio source from one wall plate over twisted pair.
How does it work?
The microphone input provides 24 Vdc IEC phantom for dynamic and condenser mics, with a rear GAIN switch normally set to NORM and a HIGH position for consistently low mic levels. The mic feeds pair A, and the -10 dBV RCA inputs are summed to mono on pair B. Power arrives remotely through the twisted pair or from a fused local terminal block input, and a blue LED confirms power. The DB-TPSL2A has a black front-panel laminate for darker wall finishes and AV furniture. Receive the signals with Format-A receivers such as the RDL D-TPR1A, and mount the sender in an RDL WB-1U wall box.
