What is the RDL DB-RLC3?
The RDL DB-RLC3 is a Decora-style remote level control that lets users pick from four preset audio levels with a pushbutton. It connects to RDL control modules with a 0 to 10 Vdc control input, giving meeting rooms and commercial spaces a simple wall-mounted volume preset panel.
How does it work?
The DB-RLC3 has four momentary pushbuttons, each selecting one level: HIGH, NORM, LOW or MIN. It is wired to an RDL voltage controlled amplifier such as the RDL RU-VCA2A and runs from the same power supply as the VCA. At power-up it defaults to NORM, and the NORM, LOW and MIN levels are set by the installer using trimpots on the sides of the body, so adjustments stay concealed from users once installed. The DB-RLC3 has a black front-panel laminate for darker wall finishes and AV furniture. It mounts in a standard US electrical box or an RDL WB-1U wall box.

- VCA control interface — The control drives RDL modules that use a 0 to 10 Vdc control input with an external 10 kΩ resistive control.
- Installer-set levels — Side-mounted trimpots set each preset, keeping the adjustments hidden from users after installation.
- Green LED indication — An LED shows which preset level is currently selected.
- Shared power — The panel runs from the same power supply as the connected RDL VCA.
