What is the RDL DB-RC2?
The RDL DB-RC2 is a remote audio mixing control panel in black that puts user volume knobs on the wall. It works with RDL remote-controlled mixers in conference rooms, classrooms and multi-purpose spaces.
How does it work?
A rear-panel RJ45 jack connects the DB-RC2 to an RDL remote-controlled mixer over standard twisted-pair wiring. The cable sends knob position data to the mixer, which uses VCA technology to set its levels while all audio stays local to the mixer. Each control uses a long-life 10 kΩ potentiometer to set the VCA voltage. The panel measures 4.1 in. H x 1.7 in. W and mounts in a standard US electrical box; the cover plate is available separately.
