RDL DB-MJPT – Mini-Jack Pass-Through Decora Plate, Black
What is the RDL DB-MJPT?
The RDL DB-MJPT is a Decora-style wall plate with a 3.5 mm (1/8") mini-jack pass-through in a black finish. It gives users a quick stereo audio connection point for laptops, computers and other mini-jack devices.
How does it work?
The front-panel mini-jack connects directly to a second mini-jack on the rear of the plate, so no wiring termination is needed at the plate. The jack works as either an input or an output for stereo audio. The plate mounts in a wall or in an RDL DC-1 Decora-style countertop chassis, or in an RDL SMB-1B surface mount box. All-steel construction and customizable front-panel text suit commercial conference and classroom installs.
What are the key features?
- Mini-jack pass-through — A front 3.5 mm jack connects directly to a matching rear mini-jack.
- Input or output — The plate carries stereo audio in either direction.
- All-steel construction — The steel plate holds up to daily connect and disconnect cycles.
- Decora-style compatible — It works with Decora-style mounting accessories and RDL countertop chassis.
- Custom front-panel text — Labels can be customized to identify the connection.
