RDL DB-1/4F – 1/4 in Phone Jack Decora Wall Plate, Black
What is the RDL DB-1/4F?
The RDL DB-1/4F is a black Decora-style wall plate with a 1/4 in phone jack for commercial AV installations. It brings a 1/4 in audio connection to walls, lecterns and equipment panels with wiring handled on a detachable terminal block.
How does it work?
The DB-1/4F mounts a 1/4 in phone jack on an all-steel Decora-style plate. Rear-panel connections are made on a detachable terminal block, which allows the cable to be prepared and landed before the plate is installed. Mount it in an RDL WB-1U universal wall box, a single-gang surface box or desktop chassis, or an RDL RM-D3 or RDL RM-D9 rack panel, and finish surface installations with an RDL CP-1 cover plate. Front-panel text can be customized through RDL to label the connection for each room.
What are the key features?
- 1/4 in Phone Jack — The plate provides a 1/4 in phone jack for audio connections at the wall or panel.
- Detachable Terminal Block — Rear-panel connections are made on a detachable terminal block for simple field wiring.
- All-Steel Construction — The steel plate stands up to repeated use in commercial spaces.
- Decora-Style Compatibility — The plate is compatible with Decora-style mounting accessories, boxes and rack panels.
- Customizable Front-Panel Text — Front-panel text can be customized to label the connection.
