RDL D-AVM4 – Audio/Video Decora Wall Plate with DB15, RCA, Mini
What is the RDL D-AVM4?
The RDL D-AVM4 is a Decora-style audio and video monitor jack panel for computers, monitors and projectors. It combines a DB15 video pass-through with stereo RCA and mini-jack audio inputs on one wall plate.
How does it work?
The front panel carries a female DB15 video connector that passes through to the rear, plus two gold-plated RCA jacks and a stereo mini-jack for consumer line-level audio. A source can connect to either the RCA jacks or the mini-jack, and left and right signals feed a rear detachable terminal block as unbalanced audio. The plate is usually installed as an input plate but works equally as an output panel. Because the audio is unbalanced, it is intended for short wiring runs. Mount it in a standard US electrical box, an RDL SMB-1W surface mount box or an RDL DC-1 countertop chassis.
What are the key features?
- DB15 video pass-through — A female DB15 connector carries the video monitor signal through the plate.
- Dual audio inputs — Stereo audio connects on gold-plated RCA jacks or a stereo mini-jack.
- Terminal block output — Left and right unbalanced audio land on a detachable terminal block.
- Input or output use — The panel works as either an audio/video input plate or an output jack panel.
- RDL white/gray finish — The plate matches other RDL Decora-style products.
