What is the RDL AMS-XLM?
The RDL AMS-XLM is a metal male XLR 3-pin connector with a terminal block for audio connections. It mounts in RDL AMS mounting frames and standard D-style cutouts, providing a panel-mounted balanced audio output point.
How does it work?
The AMS-XLM combines a metal male XLR jack with a high-quality terminal block, so balanced audio cable can be terminated without soldering. The connector mounts in AMS mounting frames, RDL Decora-style wall plates and standard D-style cutouts. It requires 1.35 in of depth behind the panel and installs in RDL panels such as the RDL AMS-HR6 and RDL AMS-RU4. RDL rates the connector for an ambient operating environment of -20° C to 70° C.
