What is the RDL AMS-PB1?
The RDL AMS-PB1 is an AMS panel accessory featuring a DPDT momentary pushbutton switch. It mounts in RDL AMS mounting frames and in standard D-style cutouts, giving integrators a clean way to add a momentary pushbutton to a wall plate, rack panel or equipment front panel.
How does it work?
The AMS-PB1 mounts behind any panel that provides a D-style cutout, including RDL AMS mounting frames and Decora-style wall plates. The switch is rated for a maximum switching power of 15 W (30 Vdc, 0.5 A). Two high-quality terminal blocks handle the switch connections, and the front plate and bracket are black satin powder-coated steel. A black plastic bezel finishes the D-style hole for a professional appearance; pair it with an AMS-RU4 or AMS-HR6 mounting frame or a D-D1T or D-D2 Decora plate. Plan for 2.08 in of depth behind the panel.

- DPDT momentary pushbutton — The double-pole, double-throw momentary switch changes state only while pressed, suiting push-to-talk and trigger functions.
- 15 W switching rating — Contacts handle up to 15 W at 30 Vdc, 0.5 A for logic and control circuits.
- Terminal block wiring — Two terminal blocks provide screw connections for both switch poles.
- D-style cutout mounting — Fits standard D-style cutouts, all RDL AMS mounting frames and RDL Decora-style wall plates.
- Professional bezel — A black plastic bezel finishes the cutout so the panel looks factory-built.
- Steel construction — The front plate and bracket are black satin powder-coated steel for a durable finish.
