What is the RDL AMS-1/8F?
The RDL AMS-1/8F is a stereo mini-jack accessory for custom AV connection panels. The 1/8 in jack can serve as a line output, line input or headphone jack, with field wiring landing on a terminal block.
How does it work?
The AMS-1/8F places a high-quality stereo 1/8 in mini-jack on a compact black satin powder-coated steel plate. It mounts in RDL AMS mounting frames such as the RDL AMS-HR6 and RDL AMS-RU4, in RDL Decora-style connector plates such as the RDL D-D1T and RDL D-D2, or behind any equipment front panel that provides a standard D-style cutout. A high-quality terminal block on the rear handles external connections, so no soldering is needed at the jack. The unit requires 1.05 in of depth behind the panel and is rated for -20° C to 70° C ambient operation.
