Product Description
The RCU2S-E4C places a Head End (HE) unit at the codec or USB host and a Camera End (CE) unit at the Poly EagleEye Cube mounting location. A single CAT5e or CAT6 cable run between these units carries USB 2.0/UVC video, bi-directional audio, and 5V/12V camera power — removing the need for separate USB, audio, and power cable runs to the camera. The E4C cable kit provides the specific connection matched to the Poly EagleEye Cube.
Power delivery at the camera end supports 5V and 12V DC, so the Poly EagleEye Cube does not require a separate local power supply. The bi-directional audio channel carries any audio functionality from the camera. UVC compliance ensures the Poly EagleEye Cube appears as a standard USB video device on any USB 2.0 host without proprietary drivers — compatible with Poly, Cisco, Logitech, and BYOM codec platforms.
