Product Description
The RCU2S-E1B6 uses a Head End (HE) at the codec or USB host and a Camera End (CE) at the AVer camera location. A single CAT5e or CAT6 cable between these units carries USB 2.0/UVC video, bi-directional audio, and 5V/12V camera power. Power delivery at the camera end eliminates the need for a separate local power supply. UVC compliance ensures the AVer camera is recognized as a standard USB video device on Windows, macOS, or Linux without proprietary drivers.
The bi-directional audio channel supports microphone or intercom signal transport. The E1B6 variant is a standard RCU2S kit without RS-232 control — for AVer cameras requiring RS-232 PTZ control, see the RCU2S-EA8 or other A8-designated variants. Replacement modules (RCU2S-CE and RCU2S-HE) are available separately.
