Product Description
The RCU2S-C10 uses a Head End (HE) unit at the codec or host and a Camera End (CE) unit at the camera location. A single CAT5e or CAT6 cable run carries USB 2.0/UVC video, bi-directional audio, and camera power — eliminating multiple cable runs and USB extender dongles. Power delivery at the camera end supports 5V and 12V DC, so no separate power supply is required at the camera mount location.
UVC compliance means the camera is recognized as a standard USB video device by any USB 2.0 host on Windows, macOS, or Linux without proprietary drivers. The bi-directional audio channel supports microphone or intercom signal transport depending on the connected camera.
