Product Description
The RCU2S-B00 uses a two-unit design: a Head End (HE) at the codec or USB host, and a Camera End (CE) at the camera mounting location. A single CAT5e or CAT6 cable run between these units transports USB 2.0/UVC video, bi-directional audio, and camera power — removing the need for USB repeaters or multiple cable types. The 5V/12V power output at the camera end eliminates a separate local power supply at the camera position.
The system is UVC-compliant, so the camera appears as a standard USB video device on Windows, macOS, or Linux hosts without proprietary drivers. The bi-directional audio channel supports microphone or intercom signal transport. The B00 cable kit configuration is specific to supported camera models — verify compatibility with Creation Networks before ordering.
