Product Description
The RCU2E-B40 ships as a matched CE/HE module pair pre-configured with cable assemblies for AVer and Lumens PTZ cameras. The head-end connects to a USB host and Ethernet switch; the camera-end delivers USB data, network connectivity, and camera power over a single CAT 5e/6 run to the installed PTZ camera. Bi-directional audio is carried on the same infrastructure. Compatible cameras do not require a local power outlet at the mount location. The kit is appropriate for permanent installation in conference rooms, training rooms, all-hands spaces, and commercial meeting rooms where camera placement flexibility is a design requirement.
