Product Description

The RCF1-E4P consists of a transmitter module at the camera end and a receiver module at the codec end, connected over fiber. HDMI video from the Poly EagleEye IV passes over the fiber link with full fidelity up to 300 meters. Ethernet control allows PTZ management and codec-to-camera communication to traverse the fiber without a separate network connection at the camera. The serial VISCA loop supports third-party or legacy VISCA-based PTZ control alongside Ethernet control. A 12V power output on the receiver module supplies the EagleEye IV camera directly, eliminating a separate power supply at the camera location. ARC and analog audio I/O allow audio return and analog signals to share the fiber run. The integrated HDMI distribution amp on the receiver drives a primary codec input plus a secondary display or confidence monitor without an external splitter.
