The Sound Control Technologies RC8-CQC-F3 is a camera extension kit for Cisco Codec EQ rooms using the Cisco Quad Camera. Based on the RC8 Gen2 RemoteCam8 platform, this kit extends HDMI video, IP control, bidirectional audio with ARC (HDMI), and 12V QuadCam power over structured cabling. The kit includes the RC-RCF3 Codec EQ rack shelf for clean integration at the head end.
Product Description
The RC8-CQC-F3 provides AV integrators with the core RC8 Gen2 extension components plus the RC-RCF3 rack shelf designed for Cisco Codec EQ installations. Head-end and camera-end modules carry HDMI, IP control, bidirectional audio including HDMI ARC, and 12V camera power on a single structured cable run. The RC-RCF3 rack shelf mounts cleanly in a standard 19-inch rack alongside the Cisco Codec EQ. The IP control path provides full PTZ camera command passthrough from the codec to the Quad Camera, and the HDMI DA function supports signal distribution at the head end. This kit does not include the RC-CUBBY-CQC camera cubby; for a complete project pack with cubby, see the RC8-CQC-F3-K. Recommended for installations where a camera-end enclosure is already specified or where the integrator prefers to source enclosures separately.
