Product Description

The RC5-P13 solves the distance limitation between the Panasonic AW-HE130 and the codec, switcher, or production rack. The RC5-CE camera interface module installs at the camera position and the RC5-HE head-end module installs at the rack; a single installer-supplied CAT cable between them carries HDMI video, IP/Ethernet control, and 12V power. Because control rides the same link, pan, tilt, zoom, presets, and controller operation work exactly as with direct cabling. The AW-HE130 is common in house of worship, broadcast, and auditorium installations where the camera sits at ceiling level or on a rear wall far from the rack, and the RC5-P13 makes that placement a single structured-cabling run.
